NEW COLLECTION! The Greek Goddesses are the inspiration for a new series of Quartz Crystal statement necklaces handmade by me, Susan Tooker of Spinning Castle. Each design includes raw Quartz Crystal points, bugle beads, seed beads, faceted crystal beads, and black oxidized chain and findings. Each necklace is one-of-a-kind and will never be repeated.
ASTRAEA is an amazing statement necklace that features very dark green Irguste Tektite beads, two large Green Tourmaline focal beads, silver-lined neon yellow bugle beads, AB faceted crystal beads, and rhinestone spacers. My concept was to create ornately beaded necklaces that recall more ancient times where gemstones were worn as amulets of protection, strength and power. ASTRAEA feels very substantial to wear and positively glows with extra-terrestial energy.

IRGUSITE TEKTITE is a rare form of very small black Tektite from Siberia. Tektite is the name given to a glassy material which is the result of a meteorite impact on the Earth’s surface. The earth sediments at the impact site melt and/or vaporize which are then are ejected into the Earth’s atmosphere. The molten material re-enters the Earth’s atmosphere and cools rapidly. Tektites are found in various shaped forms such as spheres, teardrops, or layered, often containing vesicles or bubbles, formed by either gas or steam during the solidification process. Irgusite Tektite has an intense cleansing energy which helps to remove all energetic blockages and stagnant energy, increasing one’s frequency to an extremely high vibrational level. It expands and open one’s consciousness, increasing one’s intuition and psychic senses.
